Today we did much of nothing. You went on a walk with Dada, mama met you half way to see how excited you were to see Ali the cat. When you got home and Dada left for work, you and I sat in the rocking chair and cuddled for a while. You were watching something on Mama's phone and I was enjoying the time with you. I was remembering all the times we sat on that chair together when you were a baby, you loved to sit there, looking outside while listening to the blow dryer running, it would calm you. Your such a busy little girl, I cherish the quite times when I can stare at your feet, rub your back and play with your hair. I hope you always know that Mama loves you and loves spending time with you. I'm sure it will feel I'm not always able to be there for you as you would like when Mason comes and I'm sorry for that. Mason will bring so much joy to your life, he will be there for you in ways no one else can be and as much as you two may fight and your relationship changes through out the years it will be the greatest gift we could give you, even if it doesn't feel like that at first. I will always be here for you and will find time for staring at feet and rubbing your back and playing with your hair. You are my sweet girl and I love you more then you'll know.
We went to swim class and grocery shopping after, your such a helpful shopper, always making sure we have Grover bars and Elmo crackers in our cart. We took a nap when we got home, watched some Mickey Mouse and Dora and played a while in your play room. We also spent some time playing with the trains in the living room. You ate dinner and then helped make Dada dinner, one of your favorite things to do. You had a bath, hated getting your hair washed as usual and then off to bed.
It was a routine day but made Mama very happy.
